I am a social media intern at The rAVe Agency, the #1 all-digital audio-visual media publication company. I write rAVe [PUBS] and LAVNCH [CODE] Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn posts. I crafted press releases and traveled to Las Vegas as their InfoComm 2024 videographer, where I filmed around 160 videos in three days.
Currently, I am the Social Media Executive for ANR, an event-planning start-up company. I created their catalog and website and am in charge of their social media platforms, such as TikTok. This experience has taught me the ins and outs of digital marketing. I also learned how to improvise and how to deal with pressure when preparing and organizing events.
Later on, I began an online food blog called Dubai Avenuee. Here, I collaborate with restaurants and lifestyle businesses to promote their products and services on Instagram. I got a free helicopter ride in Dubai to promote a new lifestyle app! Click here to view Dubai Avenue’s TikTok.
At the age of 10, I began my own business called SlimeTastique. I would import raw materials from China and the U.S. to create homemade slimes and sell them nationally in the U.A.E. Initially, I traded in school fairs, but as my business grew, I initiated a website and social media platforms to sell my products. I also expanded SlimeTastique by creating a sister business, SquishyTastique, to retail children’s toys. I would use my crusty tripod to craft digital content and I would organize giveaways to engage with my audience. These endeavors inspired me to delve deeper into digital marketing because the promotion aspect really sparked my interest.
I have also created an online magazine called Bona Fide. This magazine was intended to promote natural makeup, and ethical/sustainable products. Click here to check out the website and the podcast feature!
